Western Union® Money Transfer Service
 How to Pick Up Money
 Picking up a money transfer is easy. The following steps explain what you need to do. If you need more help, please contact us.
 STEP 1: Confirm Money is Ready for Pick Up Make sure you know the money is ready for pick up before you go to an Agent location. Contact the sender to confirm, or track the status of your money transfer online.

 STEP 2: Visit an Agent Location Bring the following information to a nearby Agent location:

The first and last name of the sender |

The city and country the money was sent from |

 |  |
Your current government-issued photo identification |

 |  |
The Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) if required |

Find a nearby Agent location online

 STEP 3: Complete the "To Receive Money" Form Fill out the required form and show the Agent clerk your identification.

 STEP 4: Review and Sign your Receipt Review and sign the receipt that the Agent clerk gives you.

 STEP 5: Receive your Money Transfer Receive your money and receipt from the Agent clerk to complete the transaction.

 STEP 6: Receive your Money Transfer Receive your money and receipt from the Agent clerk to complete the transaction.

Sending from Philippines: |

When sending a money transfer, senders should contact the Philippine Customer Contact Center for particulars of each country. |

Senders must present valid photo identification. |

 |  |
The sender must inform the receiver in the Philippines the exact MTCN to avoid delays. |

Receiving in Philippines: |

For US dollar Payout locations, receivers should contact the Philippine Customer Contact Center for the nearest location. |

Receivers must provide the correct Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) to receive the money. |

Receivers must present valid photo identification. |

All money transfers from abroad paid out in Agent locations shall be subject to Documentary Stamp Tax (DST), as required by law. DST is P0.30 for every P200.00 principal increments or 0.15% of the principal amount to be received. |

National identifications in this country have two last names (paternal and maternal). Receivers name in a money transfer must match exactly the name in the receivers identification. |

Beginning in November 2009, the Western Union system will automatically reject certain transactions. These transactions will be rejected at certain principal thresholds and according to other criteria, which we are not publishing so as not to compromise the integrity of the controls. Western Union will refund the money plus the fees back to the sender. The process can take from 24 to 48 hours before the sender will be contacted. |
